Description
Plywood comprises of multiple layers of thin wood veneer glued together. Layers alternate the wood grain at 90 degrees making the material extremely strong and dimensionally stable. Laser grade plywood uses a resin better suited to laser cutting and leaves a light brown cutting edge in comparison to standard ply black/burnt edge.

We are happy to advise we can now reliably source thinner grades of Birch Plywood. Currently offering 0.8mm, 2mm & 3mm.
This material is classified as BR grade Birch Plywood, offering a high-quality, finely sanded surface veneer with minimal face knots (typically limited to a maximum diameter of approximately 7–8mm).
Thicker grades continue to experience issues with the supply, [Europe is predominantly supplied by RUSSIA], alternatives to consider include our POPLAR plywood or BIRCH FACED POPLAR.
To help minimise clean-up from laser cutting burn marks, we typically apply a protective masking tape to both sides of the timber before processing. This also provides an additional layer of protection during shipping. If masking is not required, please add a comment to your order.
