Description
2 ply laser engraving laminate. Clear acrylic core (base material) with a thin contrasting bottom layer, suitable for back-lit or back-filled applications.
By laser engraving the reverse side of the laminate (with a mirrored image) the thin coloured layer is removed allowing light to pass through (back-lit). As the engraving is on the reverse of the 'top / show' face, the engraving is well protected from scratches and gives a professional high-gloss finish.
A popular use is for realistic flight simulator controls/dispalys.
