Description
Mylar is a translucent film that is flexible and cuts well with a laser.
It is a popular alternative stencil material to card as it is washable and reusable. It is also used in many engineering applications due to its exceptional tensile strength and chemical and dimensional stability.
If you are new to using Mylar we recommend trying the thinner gauge first as it tends to lay/hang flatter.

Cutting Offsets (kerf width / laser cut line width)
0.125mm thick material (125 micron) = approx. 0.1mm
0.350mm thick material (350 micron) = approx. 0.1mm
Cut edge is clean (occasional burn residue may be visible on reverse face).
