Our opal cast acrylic is white with a light transmission of 37% (for reference our standard acrylic is rated at 9% and appears solid under regular lighting). Due to its ability to defract and diffuse light it is a popular choice for light boxes and illuminated signage applications.
Like all acrylics it is a strong, stiff and durable thermoplastic (but can be brittle in small sections). Perspex code: Opal 050.

Acrylic does not require further processing.
Cutting Edges / Cleaning
Laser cutting provides a mirror like edge that typically does not require further processing. Protective cover is applied to the face of the acrylic when cutting (and shipping) to protect from scratches.
