Mirror acrylic is a strong, stiff and durable thermoplastic (but can be brittle in small sections). As a thermoplastic it can be heated and shaped many times (e.g. if futher processing is required).
Finishing
Acrylic has a glass like finish that does not require further processing.
Cutting Edges / Cleaning
Laser cutting provides a clean edge that typically does not require further processing. Protective cover is applied to the face of the acrylic when cutting (and shipping) to protect from scratches.
